(no subject)
So I've got this overwhelming feeling of dread deep in my belly because since those floods happened, my babysitting job has been postponed. Jojo works at the IRS building which had around 20 feet of flooding in it's 2 basements, which is where the electrical connections are... it's going to take them a while to suck all the water out, get the electricity functioning again and then purify the air of mold... government work is always slow, so it'll be around a month... until then JoJo gets to work @ home, which means she has no more use of me, even though technically according to the law any government worker who is working at home and has children is required to have a caretaker there to attend to the kids. But her house also got flooded and from all the damages she really doesn't have the extra money to take me on without purpose... Which means, my income has stopped and I'm left thankfully out of debt but still around a thousand dollars short of my dream to ******** ****** in ******** without *** *******.
Sooo... I have 2 options to make fast money (and no, none of them include prostitution)
1. I can sell myself to the 3 year old devil and play ponies constantly for HOURS and HOURS and HOURS making 10 dollars an hour part time.
2. I can sell any valuable thing I have (or that you have ;) that I won't die without, and try and make a thousand bucks.
Problem with number one is very clear, it would be the mindkilling experience of death to do that again, not that I minded it when I was doing it at first so much, but yeah I really don't want to. Problem with number two is that I don't really have anything to sell.
UNLESS...
I manage to find something really cool and valuable and trick someone into paying 10x more for it... I have some vintage beatles posters? A broken computer...? Monitors, keyboards... syringes, operating tables, and various surgical utensils... wires, an old printer, library books, broken scanner... shish I don't KNOW!
Then again I suppose I could try to make some money by selling my art. If I could get my grandma to pay for the art supplies I'll actually take all the money that I earn, which could be a lot eventually. I could make prints of things and sell them for 20 bucks but who buys prints?? I could make oils and sell them for 100 but... who buys oils...?? I could make tee-shirts but I'd need a website. I suppose I could make a website... I'll have to really focus on my art though... plus it's never a given...
Or I could sell this house :) It's worth around 2 million dollars.
