Attempt #1

Where does one begin...

It's like when you get new clothes, and they fit just perfectly.  They look great on you, they draw amazing compliments, and you feel like a million dollars.  The best part is, you got them all on sale.  You should never have to pay full price.

It's like getting your favorite flavor of ice cream and being able to share it with your best friend.

It's like knowing that, no matter what happens to you, someone will always be there to take care of you.  If you fell on your face, they'd be there to pick you up.  If they couldn't make it, they'd make it up to you.  They have no excuses for not being around.  The thing is, they don't have to have any.

It's like going to sleep every night next to the most important person in the world.  It's a slumber party every single night.  Some days it's truth or dare, sometimes you share life's little secrets, and sometimes nothing is said at all.  Catching a movie, reading a book, whatever.  It doesn't matter, since you're spending time together.

It's like hanging out for an entire day at a fair or an amusement park, with all the time and money in the world.  Playing all the games with your friends, and winning at everything.  You get that great feeling, where you have too many prizes to carry and you're too full of greasy fair food, and you're having the time of your life.  Then you go and pack it up in the truck and head out for a relaxing evening of board games and popcorn.

Hey man, I tried.  Maybe you'll be able to relate to one of the above?

On a different note...  I am very blatantly disregarding the multitude of homework I have, not to mention the two tests later this week.  I suppose that's the story of my life, though.  If I weren't a full-time student, what else would I be?  Part-time assistant at a hair salon, probably.  Sad.

Lots of stuff's been going on, though.  Like the fact that I've eaten more chocolate (and cookie dough) in the past few days than I had in the past few months.  It's just one of those weeks...  I'm surprised I haven't developed a severe case of salmonella (yee gatz, I can't spell).  I should actually probably go reclaim that, since I left it in 219's fridge.  They might eat it.  Haha, yeah right.  Help yourselves, we've got another package.

I tried a burrito from Spike's today.  They're not bad.  Not good, nothing even remotely resembling the deliciousness of Chipotle or Baja Sol, but still alright.  Edible, to be sure.  Very edible.  But it's awkward trying to eat a whole tomato slice.  I'm used to having them diced for me on my tacos/burritos.  You know?

I want to go mudding.  Get all dirty, wet, and just freak out.  I think that would be a ton of fun.  Or mud wrestling.  Something that requires a lot of laundry detergent afterwards.  I just want to do it with Reece, so sorry, folks, but y'all are going to have to wait.

Hmmm...  Swing dance was tons of fun.  I went with Katrina, Megan, and Amy B.  Saw Todd, Fred and Laura there, as well as Missy and Sonja, among others.  Anyhoo, we danced and had a great time.  Our dresses were so hot, thanks to Sonja (she took Megan and I shopping).  We got hot shoes too, and it was tons of fun.  I hope we do something like it again.  Naturally, I spent the rest of the weekend doing homework, but it happens.  Can't win 'em all (unless you're playing Pokemon, in which case you need to find something better to do anyway).

Well, time doesn't wait, and good grades may be slipping
