It's product endorsement time, kids!
I've started using this line of skin care stuffs:
http://www.devita.net/ It's all natural, organic, made in the USA, Vegan for most if not all products, no animal testing, free of all the shit that is on the current list of shit that might cause cancer and/or cause your reproductive organs to be uh... unproductive. And it really fucking works! I've loved everything I've tried so far, except the scrub... nothing measures up to Clinique's 7 day scrub so far. Devita's scrub is just a bit too coarse for me.
It's price is what I consider reasonable... less than most department store products, but more than some drug store brands. I'm saving some dough by using their solar body lotion on my face as well. It works just as well as their solar face lotion, only you get 3 times as much for the price. It doesn't irritate the skin around my eyes or sting, absorbs quickly leaving the skin supple, smells delicious and light, keeps my skin safe from the sun... I seriously can't begin to tell you how happy this shit makes me.
The Moroccan Rose facial toner smells amazing and is great for setting my mineral makeup (Devita is starting a makeup line that I look forward to trying).
Also awesome? They sell trial sets of their products, so that you can try several of their products for like $20. And they sell 3 different sets depending on your particular skin type. No huge commitment. I never would have tried it if it hadn't been for that.
Almost all the other consumer reviews I read are 5 stars. Seems to work for all skin types. Helps alleviate acne, dry skin, aging, and rosacia.
www.vitacost.com and www.luckyvitamin.com have had the best prices I've found so far. If you are in the market for a new skin care regimen, or even just a new lotion, you should totally give them a try! I'm spreading the word because if this company doesn't do well and goes out of business I will die.
