So, I live in Georgia now. I drove up yesterday. I wanted to leave early and my mom kept hassling me to stay and run all of these errands for her, so I coincidentally ended up on the interstate that goes right through downtown Atlanta at 5:30pm. It fucking sucked. I almost died/killed other people numerous times. And For the record, there are more cops in Georgia on all interstates/highways than any other place ever. It was ridiculous as soon as I hit Valdosta.

When I finally got here though, it was a relief. I hadn't slept at all the night before, because I was sick to my stomach, then I couldn't nap because of the movers. When I got here my dad was kind of pissy, like he wasn't glad that I was here. I don't really understand it. But he basically has the flu, so it makes sense that he's irritable. Whatever. His mood hasn't really improved, but the movers got here this morning, so we have most of our stuff now. I'm probably going to post pictures of the house later, when everything is all settled in.

This place is literally nothing like Gainesville. It's nothing like Tallahassee either. It's like one state up is a whole new country. I'm trying to find my way, but it's not that easy. The roads are mostly single lanes and a few inches to your left is oncoming traffic, and a few inches to your right are giant ditches, because there are nothing but hills here. No way my gas will last as long. But, if I drive 10 minutes, I can find everything I could possibly want. I got on superpages today and first looked up sushi restaurants, then bookstores. I'm going to get a job somewhere, and spend all of my money on makeup and hair products I've decided. And Soy milk. I passed a yoga place driving in yesterday, so I'm pretty excited for that too. Beyond that, I have an appointment with the school I want to go to on Monday. Falling into place.
