A new song from Justin Rutledge - I'm really looking forward to this album in May!
I love this guy - he unexpectedly came out to play banjo on a couple of songs for Julie Fader when she was opening for Hey Rosetta! last time I saw them. He sat down right in front of me; I wouldn't even have had to stretch to touch him (but I didn't! I was good!). He has beautiful hands. If you are at all interested in alt-country or folk, I would recommend checking him out. I also recommend Scott Cudmore's other videos - he's done work for Great Lake Swimmers, Brian Borcherdt, Sloan, Timber Timbre, Hidden Cameras,... and a video (although I think unofficial?) for The National's Fake Empire.
IN OTHER NEWS... I HANDED IN MY RESIGNATION AT WORK TODAY! \0/!
and no, I don't have anything else lined up. My last day is the 29th - I leave for Europe on April 30, have two weeks paid vacation there and then I'll have to start looking as soon as I get back. Or rather I'll have to do my final work placement for school (my last requirement before I can graduate), and maybe work part-time for my dad, then look for a new full-time job.
It's terrifying but such a huge relief at the same time :)
