Lauren, you truely are a pain, you demand updates and expect everyone to have Itunes darn it! Oh, just for the record I do not have I tunes. Its very demanding on my poor little laptop.
Right... so I suppose you'd all (ie Lauren) would like to know what i've been up to.
Well its 8.20 on a Sunday morning and i'm going to church later, i'm leading worship again, i'm not that great but I don't worry about it as much.
I'm off on a mission next weekish, check it out at www.ne1online.org. The reason i'm going is because i've been persistantly bullied by Alastair to go, who incidently doesn't like camping. O joy. It should be good anyway. I get to tell a load of geordies about God!
Oh, also on Friday I was having a stroll through Hanley Park and found a girl in pain on the floor! So I walked past on the other side. Nah! Just kidding! She was with two mates but they were just laughing at her. Her leg had seized up (Lauren... it's a word with a Z in!) possible dislocated knee. Her leg was just bent and stuck in that position and she was in muchos pain. You people probably do not know but I used to be in St John Ambulance and did lots of training up to ambulance technician level. I did all I could but I had to call for an ambulance in the end. I also had to carry her to the edge of the park. You know how a husband carries his wife over the threshold, thats how I had to carry her so not to move her leg. Twas interesting. She kept looking into my eyes which was kinda weird.
Anyway, i'm just kinda impressed with myself that I told Becky (that was her name) everything the ambulance technicians would do... and they did it! Which involved giving her entinox, cutting her jeans, checking her knee and ankle, straighten her leg, put it in a splint and then take her to hospital for x-rays for 5 hours. :D I know i'm a show off buts its nice to know i've not forgotten what i've learned.
Books I have read... I think the last book I finished was three by Ted Dekker. Very interesting book. I've started reading 'Carter beats the Devil' by Glen David Gold, seems like its going to be a good book but i'm too early on to decide whether or not its going to be great.
I've been missing Anna as well, which is hard with her being on the other side of the world, Brazil! She's coming back in less than a week though! Which is good... then she's on the other side of the country while i'm heading off up north... no!!!!! We'll see each other again sometime, which'll be good!
Anyway i'd better be off, i've got worship to lead. :D
Caio!
Dan.
