Happy Winter Solstice!
Last night was Sleep Study 2.0 - The CPAP Begins
Unfortunately, the bed I was assigned was an uncomfortable POS. I had a horrible nights sleep due to that, compounded by the abundance of wires attached to my head, face, chest and legs...plus a blood oxygen meter taped to a finger as well as the CPAP hose running to my nose. When I met with the doctor this morning, he showed me that my sleep (what sleep lol) was better than last time so it looks like the machine will work. I'm hoping that when I am home in a comfortable bed (with my lovely Wendi next to me) I will have the great night of sleep that has been promised to me. There will be a follow-up w/ the doctor in 3-4 weeks, I might talk to him about surgury options at that time so I don't have to worry about the machine. Time will tell, I guess...
