Yesterday...
'Twas a crazy day running over to downtown Seattle with
daydreamto get her parking tickets paid so she could renew her tabs. I can understand her frustration with dealing with the mess in downtown - driving around in circles trying to find parking, then getting to the courthouse to take care of business. It went quicker than either of us expected, and after dealing with horrid traffic getting back to the Eastside to get the tabs all is well and Wendi is able to drive again! Woot!
I got a letter with the official results of my sleep study. The results make me understand why I feel like I never get a goodnights sleep - I 'slept' for 7.7 hours, but only 71 minutes was REM sleep (where you actually get the rest needed). 292 times I woke up for 3-4 seconds. 40 times I stopped breathing for at least 10 seconds. No wonder I'm tired all the time! I go back in on the 20th to get fitted for an CPAP machine which should help immensely.

Bit of stress this morning at work - my paycheck was off which screws me over for holiday gifts, but my boss is working with payroll to have an off cycle check cut so I can get the missing $$ by Monday. Also, due to the change to AT&T Mobility from Cingular Wireless, they are doing 'job alignments" in order to simplify things. This means a title change for me, and the base salary range is nice bump for me (around 10%). The raise should be taking effect during the 1st and 2nd quarters of next year.
