Just a word to let you know I'm still around ... although Adam has killed me several times over with his performances LOL.
Two major assignments for college, getting in home stretch of this term. This week, I think I'll have some free time to get at Chapter 6.
The idea of the extra bed came to me when I looked at the room description and mentioned this option. Sounded like something Kris might do. And can I just say, if one can afford the Presidential Suite and you need another bed, why can't you book another room!! LOL
Thanks for the heads up. I know you're busy with school, so I understand that it takes a while to find time to write. It also ups the anticipation for the next chapter for me. ;)
Did you get to see Queen + Adam in person? I really hope so. I saw him in Philadelphia last week and it was the most amazing thing ever! Adam blew me away like I knew he would, but so did Brian and Roger. For "old guys" in their 60's, they can still rock out on those guitars and drums. But the show needed more Adam since he was missing from the stage for quite a while during the middle part of the concert. But I sill had an amazing time.
I so wish I could have seen Adam and Queen but unfortunately, I can't afford it. It drives me nuts too cause I live 45 mins from Toronto and can't get to either show!
I remember Brian saying during the press conference that they were going to take care of Adam. Aside from giving Brian and Roger a chance to shine, I think the break is good so Adam can give his voice a break. When his voice sounded tired on the Phili vids (it may have sounded better live), I was worried it was catching up on him. Glad he's sounding better than ever
I hadn't heard that interview with Brian. I understand now. Quite a few of their songs are difficult to sing and I can see where they would strain someone's voice, especially if they're not used to singing for such a long concert night after night. Adam sounded amazing and I didn't notice that he sounded tired. But I'm such a huge fan that he always sounds heavenly to me. :)
I was so afraid that Reggie, being super cautious, would change hotels at the last minute. So relieved he didn't. LOL at Kris and the extra bed. :D
