Saffron pulls a small compact out of her pocket, opening it to reveal a small circular mirror. Then she takes out a small marker and begins writing on the mirror's surface. Somewhere in the mirrorverse, the following words appear on an identical mirror.
My Lady Queen,
I must admit that I have been most distressed during the course of this week. The people who live in the Mansion are, in general, hostile and disrespectful to your Majesty. I, on the other hand, have been most willing to offer my assistance. And still you opened the way into your side of the mirrors and let them in. They came to try to hurt you, to destroy what you've built. And I of course know that they could never succeed, but it concerns me. And I couldn't come to join you on your side. It didn't seem right.
But you changed my mind. Your actions with Alice have shown everyone without a doubt that you are the one in control here. The ones who thought they'd challenge you know otherwise now. The intruders into your side have been shut down completely. You maintained control even when I doubted you. I am most impressed, my Lady. Forgive my doubt. It will not happen again.

She checks her work, then closes the mirror's case and puts it away again.
