Kenshin came into class and saw first that Chii was not there yet. Then he noticed the new kid. There was something about this kid that even Kenshin couldn't quite figure out. Kenshin wasn't sure what to think, so he casually took a seat next to the kid. "Hello," he said, inclining his head.

Shuichi kept stiff in his chair, but managed to turn his head sharply to view the person whom had spoken. His eyes looked at him puzzled. "And who are you?" he spoke, not considering how rude that may seem to some.

Kenshin noticed the gruffness, but didn't pay it much mind. "Name's Kenshin," he said, "and you?"

--Kenshin? Didn't think people still named their kids that nowadays. Possibly from a traditional family.-- He gave Kenshin his smirk, "My name is Shuichi Ichigo. You'd best remember that now."

[sawada_leo]

As the name rang through Leo's ears he stood abrutly and coughed slightly.

"Sakura-chan..." Leo walked over to a classmate and gave her a sickly smile. "I am not feeling so well.... Please tell the teacher I will be at the nurses to lay down...." He coughs again to the untrained eye it seemed real, after all Leo was deathly pale at the moment.

However his green eyes not were fixed onto the girl before him but the new student. He turned his glaze away again and left the room coughing all the way out.

The girl watched the student officer leave the class room and whispered slightly, "Poor Sawada.... Don't worry I won't fail!"

Shuichi's eyes followed Leo's departure. --Wonder what his problem was.-- He turned his focus back onto Kenshin, pushing aside his thoughts about Leo, but still considering that he should keep an eye on that one just in case.

Noticing, but not paying attention to Leo, Kenshin responded, "Actually I'm not too good with names, why do I need to remember yours?"

"For future reference of course. But I see you are one that doesn't care to plan ahead." Shuichi replied, often using his hands to emphasize his words.
