Around six Yuki was rolled into Shuichi's room. The nurse pushing her wheelchair stopped it at the vacant bed and helped the girl into it.
"Thank you"
Yuki smiled at the nurse and relaxed into the bed an IV attached to her right hand. After a few minutes, Yuki looked over at Shuichi's general direction.
"Hello,"

Shuichi only glanced at the girl as the nurse entered with her. Until he got his glasses, he was pretty much blind, so any looks towards his new roommate would be useless.

When he heard a sweet voice speak up after the nurse had left, he obediantly turned in the girl's direction. He hesitated with his response, not sure how to answer her greeting. "...uh hey."

She wiggled her feet back and forth under the blanket, "so... why are you here?" It was rare for her to have a roomate who was her own age.

"My school attempted to kill me," Shuichi replied almost haughtily. He tried to focus his eyes better to see her more clearly, but failed.

"You sound pretty cheerful about being here." He said this before considering that it may because of a long term sickness that almost guaranteed her death, making her not care about being there anymore.

"Really? your...school...tried to kill you..." Yuki tried not to chew on her lip some - a nervous habit. "maybe papa was right about school after all.... its a very dangerous place..."

She perked up some at his next remark and shifted out of her blanket and moved towards the foot of the bed. Yuki sat indian style and picked at the fuzz on the hospital socks.

"Oh...I guess you can say I am just used to it... I can be a klutz really... I have hemophilia. I know what you are going to say, don't guys just get that." Some bitterness entered her voice but she quickly brushed it away. "Guess I am one of the unlucky ones. So... I am always here alot for therapy and such. Oh how rude of me... I haven't introduced myself... Haramori Yuki, but everyone just calls me Yuki." Yuki casted him a lopsided smile.

Shuichi considered her introduction. After deciding she, being not annoying as some tend to be, couldn't be a threat an any way. "Ichigo Shuichi." He flashed a smile at her, which was unusual of him when he was in a grouchy mood. Then again, he didn't feel grouchy anymore...

"Why don't your parents just hire a personal nurse so that you don't have to keep coming to places like this?" It never occured to Shuichi that not everyone would be as wealthy as him.

"personal nurse?" Yuki paused for a moment and stop picking at the fuzz. " I guess we could.... however that would be troublesome for my father. He doesn't need anything else to worry about. Yuki saw his smile and thought about it. Shuichi looked really good with a smile.

"but... I don't mind... I mean... hospitals aren't really fun but at lest I get to met people... I was home schooled so metting new people was limited. Ne.. Do you mind if I come over there to sit with you?" Yuki went back to plucking the fuzz once more.

Shuichi thought about her request in a quizzical manner. Girls sure were strange...

"I don't care," he replied casaully.

She perked up even more and made her way off the bed. Yuki grabbed her DS and rolled the IV stand over to Shuichi's side of the room. As she placed the ds on the bed, Yuki used her free hand to drag over a chair to sit in.

"Ne.... so... do you have any hobbies Ichigo-kun?"

"I don't...think so," Shuichi said with a thoughtful expression.

*^*Price that comes with being born under the Ichigo name, I guess...*^* he thought sadly.

Yuki paused for a moment, "you must have something... do you like to read? write? umm watch tv?" She pressed, everyone had some sort of hobby even if they didn't know it.

"No I don't think so. I just try to help my dad maintain his business and help by looking up certain people for him..." he trailed off, not sure if he had said too much.

[glass_maiden]

Yuki pressed a finger to her lips and thought about it, "So your hobby is helping your father and" She tapped her index finger again on her lip, " and help running a business." Yuki casted him a bright smile. "So you do have hobbies told you."

She didn't seem phased by the infomation he gave her or express the need for Shuichi to explain. "but...you seem like a really responisble person so thats a good trait too."

"How could you say that only just knowing me?" Shuichi wondered. He wasn't used to anyone being able to read him as easily as she seemed to be doing.

[glass_maiden]

"well... if your father trusts you to help with the family buiness... that says something about you...woudln't it? because if you are going to effect the out come of anything for your father's career it needs to be froma trustworthy source son or not right?" Yuki wonder if she offend him by her off handed statement. Was she assuming too much and being rude?

"W-what I mean is that... you...you had to be responisble to run or even help run any sort of business... because... even for adults thats alot of responisblitiy...."

"Mmmm..." he replied thoughtfully. Who would have thought that you could meet such interesting people in a hospital.
