RACE =/= RACISM!
Forensics provided me with some entertainment, at least as much as one can have at 9.30 in the morning. We were discussing identifying skeletal remains, including determining gender, race, age at time of death, and the like. Well half way through the lecture on differences in bone structure among races there is a slide that says "RACE and RACISM are two completely different concepts!" and the TA delved into a tirade on how racism had no place in her classroom, but that assigning biological subspecies 'racial' status is helpful in identification procedures, then as quickly as it began we returned to the world of forensics.
The rest of my day was uneventful, lunch with David, came home and slept instead of studying, took a test, went to dinner with Amy.
