my sister forced me to bake with her
we made a moist chocolate cake today. nothing really fancy, it's a ready-to-bake thing anyway. reade-made powder mix and stuff. i asked my older sister to bake a carrot cake last night, and ended up being her sous chef -forced to!-. but since we don't have carrots we just have to make do with anything available in the kitchen. we have mangoes and watermelon though. she even wanted to try to combine chocolate and mango aside from suggesting we make a watermelon cake. there's no logic for that. simply for the sake of experimenting with the food. in the end we decided not to poison the family and go with a simple chocolate cake.
it's rectangular! almost look like a chocolate bread/loaf instead. and the top surface isn't smooth v__v we didn't really care about getting rid of the air bubbles so the top ended up looking like the surface of the moon, with the kawah and all. this is before we pour the chocolate sauce topping. but even with the topping all the holes are still visible. but who cares, it'll still end up in our stomach anyway. but the topping was too sweet for me so i didn't eat much. the cake was good though =) in conclusion, i will never bake again and my sister have to drag me into the kitchen if she wants me to help
