(no subject)
Well apparently dad's surgery went really well today. It was supposed to go for four hours [from going in the OR to coming out] but it only took three. Mum said in her email that the doctor even took some extra time to work on dad's nose so he could breathe easier. He was telling me while I was home that because of the patching they have to do around the spot where the tumor was, he has to sneeze through his mouth instead of his nose [which sounds like a simple and yet ridiculously complicated process to me :S]. Mum was saying that he was pretty groggy when they wheeled him out of the OR [now that's something I'm sorry I missed, my dad all hopped up on hospital drugs - I'm such a bad daughter!]. Because of that, she didn't get to talk to him much but apparently he can see better already [the tumor was putting pressure on his optic nerve so he couldn't see very well out of his left eye]. YAY! ^^
