At the hooding ceremony today there was one girl who was Hispanic. When she received her hood her father yelled out "For Mexico!" However, because he was indeed Mexican, he pronounced the country's name as Latinos do--> MEH-hi-co.
The girl next to me...who was getting her masters in EDUCATION...said:
"MEH-hi-coooo?? What's that?"
