(no subject)
Well well well. Here I am again.
My recording career is slowly sputtering to a stop, mostly due to my inablity to fully understand how to use the equipment that I have. The whole purpose of said equipment was to record demoes for my band's songs, but unfortunately it would appear the financial stress of a new job + new car (did I mention I got a new car? a dodge caliber. it's sawheet) = not enough money to get the rest of the equipment I could never hope to understand. Of course, I can still record my own songs, but I didn't need this $300 mixer to do THAT. Oh vell.
I've been reading books more and more lately, for the first time in awhile. I finally get H.P. Lovecraft. It took me forever, but it finally clicked with me, and what a joy. An almost endless spring of inspiration, that man. Since I started reading him, I've had three story ideas pop up in my head almost completely developed. That's three more than I've had in the last three years. It's good to be waking that part of my mind up again. I'm taking my time with them, but I don't expect them to actually come to fruition. I've also been doing some research into demons and the occult for these and future stories. Interesting stuff.
My life has been fairly good as of late, and I am content. I hope that you all feel the same, and if not, that the feeling is coming for you soon.
