I’m on a serious time delay, so bear with me folks.
I caught a few minutes of the TCA, despite the fact that I am not a teenager, nor did I have a choice in the “awards” if you can legitimately call them that.
I know I knock Jenny a lot for his pissy attitude, and I wish I didn’t feel the need to, but everytime I think I’m being too tough on the guy, he does something else to tick me off.
When presenting the award for best “grille” it looked to me like he scoffed.
Now, Jenny, hon, I’m with you. It is lame. However, you had a chance to practice the presentation, so it wasn’t exactly a surprise… you are an actor. I’d like to think that you could pretend for 2 minutes that you were having fun, okay? It’s not like you didn’t get a $10,000 (USD) gift basket for your participation… so suck it up princess.
Especially since the audience for this was totally in your show’s target demographic (and the current 4 million viewers isn’t that great) and this was your chance to woo new converts, which equals more ads, which translates to more seasons and more money per episode. Way to alienate your potential audience, although, most of them are probably too stupid to notice your “too cool”act, so it won’t matter. You did look good, and that’s what will draw them in I guess.
Sorry that you lost the award to Zac Efron sweetie, but he is a teenager, and more people have watched Highschool musical than the total number of viewers for every episode of Supernatural added together, so I’m not surprised. Better luck next time - maybe you’ll be in the “hottie” category.
I did enjoy Jared’s goofy little speech thing. Spilling his drink and drawling all over the place.
I did get a good laugh out of this picture. I’m no body language expert, but dude, a quick search of an online resource confirmed my suspicions. Crossed arms on a woman are never a good sign. It’s like she’s being polite, but she’s defensive. And I’m sure it’s just the angle, but they look miles apart.
According to the “
body language dictionary”
Women use open arm positions with men they like, but cross-arms with men they dislike (men, on the other hand, show no difference); and women show uneasiness by crossing their arms (while men do not). "Folding arms may indicate protection against some sort of verbal or nonverbal attack."
