A girl I used to go to school with liked to go to Alex Parks meet-up days. (For those of you who don't recall, Alex Parks was a contestant on 'Fame Academy' who sang emo Coldplay covers etc.) As well as occasionally stalking Ms Parks, my old school chum and her companions enjoyed meeting up for no particular reason other than their shared love for the singer.

Similarly, a new phenomenon of Phil RAR meet-up days began in Cambridge on Thursday evening. In attendance were various members of the Cult, a couple of poor misguided fools who consider themselves above cult membership, some Cambridge natives who have heard the Word of Phil RAR and popular beat-combo Special Needs. Songs were played, drinks were had in honour of the Great Leader himself & cult members celebrated their love of Phil RAR with permanent marker pen.

All in all then, a joyous occasion and a fabulous success. Let's hope this wonderful trend continues!
