Well, thank you for joining everyone. I am feeling quite emotional about the love being shown.
Since there has been some scepticism about the actual purpose of this fine community, I have compiled a series of Mission Statements for your appreciation.
1. Spread The Word
e.g. Have hushed conversations about Phil RAR in public places. When a passing acquaintance/stranger enquires after this elusive (ahem) figure, refer them the The Cult of Phil RAR and this website. It is probably best not to inform them that Phil is just some bloke over there. Every cult needs a bit of mystery.
2. Share Your Own Phil RAR Tales
e.g. When I met Phil RAR, he said, "Hello, I'm Phil RAR." It changed my life forever!! etc
3. Share Minor Indie Celeb/Demi-God related Phil RAR Tales
e.g. The Shah sought Phil RAR out of a crowd of thousands in The Windmill to clasp his hand.
4. Recount Stories of Phil RAR Nutters
e.g. The Face-Biting Girl
& glitter_junky - She has 'philrar' listed as interest. I have enquired about this in a way that may look a little insane. Not that I am.
Please feel free to post about issues not directly related to the Mission Statements. Spontaneous outbursts of your love for The Leader, Phil RAR himself, are always appreciated.
And for your clarification, Google Dictionary defines a "cult" as, amongst other things: -
* Obsessive, especially faddish, devotion to or veneration for a person, principle, or thing.
* An exclusive group of persons sharing an esoteric, usually artistic or intellectual interest.
