(no subject)
Yesterday was pretty cool. Woke up, went to work, got home, went with thomas to the car show at latin which was hosted and organized by conner. We came really late so most of the cars were gone. But there was still an awesome impala, 3 ferarris (sp?), and some other crazy cars that i didn't even know there names coz i know nothing about cars. However they looked like they could be owned by either Speed Racer or Master P. Then we went to chill at the arboretum, then went to infinitys end. Then smoked up some backwoods trails behind best buy on independence, then played some crazy ass laser tag. Dude there were some black dudes in there that were yellin and screamin and shit, getting really into it, they said there were on "team Crips". Then after that, we went back to the arboretum to see sin city. I thought it was actually rather confusing, but it was interesting all the same. The concept was neat, but i thought some parts were really corny/stupid. For one example, i thought lots of the lines were way too overexaggerated, which is inevitable (in my opinion) when adapting comic book to movie, however this movie took it to another level. And that gold looking guy looked like a mix between a vulcan from star trek and an oompa-loompa - plus the part where he gets his package ripped off is totally unnecessary and made me wince. Violence galore, desensitizing, even more so than kill bill. I thought the part that quentin tarantino directed was actually kind of lame. Idk. I need to see it again, to get a solid opinion. I felt like so much of this movie was just pointless, but maybe i just don't get it.
