Pumpkins
I just got my first ever pumpkin. I remember as a kid I always had turnips instead as for a normal sized pumpkin, you had to spend over £5 or something as they obviously aren't native.
Went into Tescos today. They were selling large pumpkins for £1! So obviously grab one and go off dancing to do the rest of the shopping, and then come upon another box of pumpkins, this time extra large one... for £1 as well o___________O
Suffice to say, I got the largest one they had at the time
The thing near killed me walking home with it. Heavier than Sarah the last time I held her! (Some of those photos of her on my Flickr of the ickle one)
Now need to come up for a design for it as I don't want just a bog standard pumpkin. Also tempted to go grab some more after work on Monday ^_________^
And speaking of work, Hoegaarden is lovely stuff but bloody strong (one of the guys I was out with last night introduced it to me). And for the first of the handful of times I've been there, Irene & Nans (work's local as it's just ) wasn't playing crap dance music, but instead good ol' 70s and 80s stuff such as Queen and David Bowie. And Bar Bacca was playing a lot of the same with some bluesy rock. Hope they keep it up as it was great. Laughed at the fact that in Bar Bacca we were all boiling thanks to their funky fireplaces and dancing, but the guy from work who's from South Africa was cold and still wearing his jumper *snickers*
