How long were you a Harry Potter fan before discovering Shoebox?
A ridiculously long amount of time. I've been a Harry Potter fan for about eight or nine years and I discovered SBP two or three ago, so you do the math!
How did you find Shoebox?
I honestly have no idea. I believe I was looking for Remus/Sirius fiction in general and stumbled upon it. Fantastic coincidence!
Who is your favourite Shoebox character?
Remus. Oh, Remus, Remus, Remus is just perfect with all his awkward gangly boy bits and his grammar and oh, Remus. Definitely the most beautiful and relatable characterizations of him I've ever seen.
Which is your favorite Shoebox chapter/scene/moment?
I was listening to SBP Aloud just a few hours ago and I have to say, I honestly can't pick one even having heard a few of them so recently. There are just so many that are either so beautiful or comically genius I can't stand it, although I am a huge fan of the Sirius/McGoogles occurence in part four. All of the Remus/Sirius bits make me go wobbly on the inside, especially the "is, is this okay?" part, ohh dear.
What is your favourite Shoebox quote?
I had a list, but I'm sure it's somewhere very far away by now. Every single time Remus speaks I feel like it's my new favorite quote ever. I'm really in love with the "righteous groove" and "hep cat" conversation, along with any time Remus is particularly flustered, like: "Please don't kill me, Kingsley. I'll -- I'll pay you. I'll kidnap babies, I'll polish your broomstick, I'll by you a new broomstick, I will carve you a new broomstick, I will -- anything, sell you my soul, sell you the souls of -- just I really, I really have -- somewhere I need to be." I laugh my ass off every time. Oh look, there it goes now.
Are you already having those infamous Shoebox moments?
I've had them ever since I read the first part, but no one in this tiny town understands. It's tragic, truly. I think I should just start wearing around shirts with SBP quotes and explaining their origin to everyone I meet.
What hobbies do you have OUTSIDE of Shoebox?
Writing, reading, photography, art, that sort of thing. Grammar addiction and slight constant craving for (turkey and) cheese sandwiches. Staying up all night, playing video games, and general abuse of the internet.
