So. Saturday in shoeboxchat, someone said something about shoebox aloud (it was probably me) and we all got to wondering whatever happened to Ally (fadagaski) and the gang. Once upon a time I read something for sbp_aloud. It was the part where James and Lily have sex for the first time, and I remember I had the crappiest internet ever when I recorded it, so I had to go so as far as to send Ally the file on a CD, LOL.

Dang. I wish I still had that file so I could send it in and help you guys out. I've switched computers twice since then, though, and no longer have it.

if you'd like to rerecord that chapter, no one has claimed it yet. we're got 23 and 24, our remus and sirius are set up to record 25a tomorrow, and I'm 3/4 through 22, so we're definitely working on that time period. and feel free to come into chat if you have problems, chances are someone there will be able to help. or if you just want to say hi and/or see how the project is coming from the inside. =)

Not to rain on your illustrious parade or anything, but:
If anyone is craving chapter 24, ladycariad and I recorded it for mad_as_soup's birthday one year, so here it is on Mediafire (55MB zip). :) Like OP, I can mirror elsewhere.

no, no rain at all, we're glad to have it! I'll make sure liz^4 knows it's been done, since she was considering doing that one after the other one she claimed which she also hasn't started because she's sick and her voice is crap.

Funnily enough, I believe ladycariad was sick and my voice was crap at the time of recording. orz

ooh, thanks for the link! I will definitely have to look into that. after this lit exam I should have been studying for when I was instead recording ch23, making this post, and also replying to comments. clearly I have weird priorities.
