I run a scan yesterday, when I paniced xD, but my antivirus didn't find anything, and the pc works normally, so I think it's fine.

I scanned my computer and it found something called a "tracking cookie", could that have been from the website? It's the only thing it found... :x

Has the virus been known to attack Macs as well? Because usually I just rely on the fact that Macintoshes seem to be incredibly virus resistant, so I don't run scans.

so i've been running a virus scan on my mac using a program my school gave me and checked all the cookies on my computer. i found one cookie from the russian website which i deleted right away and the virus scan hasn't found anything so far. but it really isn't the safest course of action to not use any virus program on your mac! there are viruses that are mac-specific and viruses that target both macs and pc's. macs are actually virus resistant, there's just a significantly smaller number of mac-specific viruses so it's a little harder to get one (but far from impossible) if you guys don't have any sort of virus scanner on your computer (since i know the one that comes with the computer, mac scan, is only a trial) you should download iantivirus and run a scan!
