Still more of the same. Working hard and learning new things. I'm not exactly sure if I'll be getting that promotion. When I found out the supervisors' kid applied, that pretty much dropped my chances to slim and none. Either way I'm going to be making more money but I guess I'll just have to put in more time.
After work, walking into the gym, after my workout is just more of the same. Going into my lonely place, eat my lonely meal while doing my crossword puzzle. Still lonely and knowing that I probably won't have a girlfriend in a very long time. I walk alone in this tunnel and the end is nowhere to be found. All I really want is someone to go out and do fun things with.
My flight to the Cayman Islands is booked. Little Cayman to be more specific. I'll be there for a few days to relax. I don't really want to do anything but lay in a hammock under the shade on the secluded beach and sip tropical drinks all day and night. I'll be staying at my friend's apartment on the beach. The good thing is that I don't have to use any of my vacation. Still, it can't come soon enough.
