The flash does catch his attention, and he's confused to say the least.]

Sorry. I'm trying to make sure she stays happy. I don't think anyone would be impressed with me imagining her here only to let her get upset.

[And then he gets an idea. Why not recreate something from his inventing room? With a single thought, an everlasting gobstopper appears next to Feferi. Yes, in the water.]

[Cue sudden surprise at the sudden appearance of candy in the water. Distracting Gl'bgolyb with another lusus allows her to get hold of it first]

That is an everlasting gobstopper! One of my latest creations, actually. You can suck on it all year and it will never get smaller!
