Nutz!
So.. maybe it IS a good time to rejoin the labor pool. What with the State minimum wage up and all. That way I'm not "grandfathered" in so to speak. After all, if I've been working at a job that's $5 above the previous minimum wage then the law changed.. suddenly, in theory, I take a $2 pay cut. Now, when I apply for a new job, I can ask for that much more from my next employer. Makes sense doesn't it?
So, what does the future hold for me? Maybe I'll just get a boring job in an office pool or something... that way I can really start to cook again. Which is what I really love to do. If I could open a restaraunt and not charge for anything... just feed people great food, I'd be a happy elf. Instead of working for "the man" and their concerns about profitablility and such.
Funny thing too. This wasn't a premonition or anything but last night, I searched and submitted about 2 dozen resumes. Submitted one back on Saturday and already got a call back on it... but I'm debating on setting up an interview or seriously considering it as the training portion would put me in Indiana for 6 months.
Anywho, we'll see what happens after today when I get my head cleared.
