Did I say "done and done . . . off" only two days ago? I lie yet again. SORRY!
Life has been quite interesting lately, despite the fact that I have to spend my days with 5 year olds. I was supposed to drop my car off in Spartanburg on Monday but of course I stayed at school too long. Oops! I completely forgot. Oh well. So then I actually took it on Tuesday and then headed home for some super kickass Nana cooking (yay for more macaroni pie)! They were even nice enough to send a plate home for Susie. My family :) But anyways, I really had a great time hanging out at my Nana's house talking to my family. We all sat around on the porch talking about memories of childhood with Paul and Nick. Bittersweet they were.
Wednesday I was thrown for a loop after school when Mr. Adams called a faculty meeting that lasted for forever. I was definitely not going to make it to get my car. That's okay though because apparently it wasn't ready anyway. Oh well. I was surprised by an IM from Aaron informing me that I was to come to Clemson last night at 10:00. I immediately said no, debated for a few seconds, and then decided I had made the right decision. He disappeared for a couple of hours and then came back . . . long story short, I got a visit from Aaron complete with my bag AND Roldy. And I got some tequila and oj, rum, AND some Roldy! :)
Today was school as usual. Imagine the bits and pieces I am leaving out. :) Oh . . . can I just say that a child actually HIT me yesterday? WTF?!?! I referred him to Mr. Adams and all he got was a couple of hours in ISS with Rico. That's BULL. Lucky Susie has now gotten rid of her bad kid for two days in a row. I'm jealous! :(
One more day of school and it's our first FULL week OVER. Yay for that! I mentioned margaritas after school tomorrow to Jennifer and Rebecca and it sounds promising. So now I'm SUPER excited!! Afterwards I think Rico is coming to hang out and I'm considering a tailgating bash at the Bi-Lo Center. I have to see what Michael is up to and what time Rico plans on being finished coaching. Ah, the busy eventful life of a teacher . . . :-p
