2 days down! Today went as smoothly as yesterday. As nervous as I was about starting it may turn out that this week is the easiest of all. It's not bad because we don't have any real plans and I'm just kinda doing what I want as I go along. Lots of rule practicing, walking in a straight line, reading books, centers, etc. Today for our writing activity we talked about our favorite colors, made tallys for who liked each color, and then wrote in their journals. It was cute. It's amazing how many of them write completely backwards!! Oh well. Mrs. Latimer and I talked more today and actually had a couple of good laughs. I did a bit better at telling her what I wanted today and she didn't do anything I didn't like. THAT will make Nana happy! Susie and I were out of there by 3:45 today. I bet Pip didn't know what to do when we showed up that early!! I got another compliment from Mr. Adams today about my straightl, quiet line in the hallway. Yay for that!
So for tonight Susie and I came home, both napped, and then cooked pesto pasta for dinner. I have leftovers for tomorrow! (Now let's just see if I actually have time to eat)! We start related arts tomorrow so that's at least 30 minutes for me to chill. Yay for that too.
I think I'm going home tomorrow to eat dinner with the family. It IS Thursday night family dinners ya know. :) (:
Sarah will be here this weekend so that should be interesting. I've already warned her that we're lazy bums nowadays. My family likes to say I've already changed but I like to think I haven't. Sarah says she's okay with being off work and bumming around so we're good to go.
I'm going to laze around watching none other than SVU with SusieQ. School again tomorrow . . . yuck! :(
