Weekend in Clemson
So when did I head down to Clemson? Ah yes, Saturday. But before Saturday was Friday. And Friday was QUITE a night. Ashley and Meka stopped by the theater and coerced me into going to Old Habits. I can't believe I let them talk me into it but I went and immediately decided that I needed to be TRASHED to stay there any amount of time. So trashed I did get. Apparently Ash wasn't far behind me, I hear she was puking in the bathroom. Me being the drunk I am, I missed it all. I have heard I met a guy and was convinced to dance and ride the saddle that was sadly placed on a stationary "fence." Needless to say on Saturday it was rough when Mom jumped in to bed with me and started poking me. My entire body ached and took hours to feel normal.
After doing a little nothing and some packing I headed my newly sober ass to Clemson as planned. Ashleigh and I went to yummy dinner at Rockhoppers and then we headed downtown for a usual Saturday night. The usual turned unusual when we headed to some party for 5 seconds (someone Ash knows) and then back to Marc's (as usual). Things got heated there and I got into an argument with Trevor. From what I hear I ended up with a sore throat from screaming and an achy hand from possibly slapping him....Oops.
Sunday was Sunday. I spent the day in Anderson doing mindless shopping with Casey and Chris. Can I just say that I found the BEST pillow EVER. I think it may just have to replace Bedtime Bear (Aaron has been informed and will be making the needed emotional adjustments). I also took a major step forward :) The night COULD have been better but as it was I went to sleep happy.
Monday....4th of July. I spent the first part of the day shopping with Ashleigh. Or rather, WATCHING her shop. Afterwards was lounging and attempting to make plans. Ian was nice enough to bring me a bottle of wine and afterwards I informed Aaron he would be picking me up cause I would not be driving. This was also another night I took a step forward but once again I'll leave it unsaid. I ended up going to Marc's with Ian, Steven, Ashleigh, Haley, blah blah blah, the usual. We had burgers, beer, wine, everything. It was good and fun, I got tipsy. I messaged Aaron by 10:30 cause i knew I'd be done for if I stayed much longer. We had margaritas (thanks to Jon and the lime juice) and watched crazy vampire anime cartoons. Weirdo guys I know. Followed by Roldy it was a good night all around.
Sadly enough after this the weekend was over and I had to return to Union. Yuck. I spent some time with Mom, went through books and shower stuff, tried to get some stuff in order for moving on Saturday. Somewhat productive, a good start at least. Now I'm having to work again after a break and still kind of pack. I'm really just spending time with Mom, watching TV, reading, and pretending to (or at least planning to) pack. I'm working on it!
