Back to the real world
Snow Day 2007 is officially over. After a day off and an hour delay, it's back to the real world for us happy teachers. (Grumble grumble). In all honesty, I couldn't even sleep as late as I had set my alarm; it felt wrong somehow and I basically stayed awake tossing and turning. Now, THAT said, getting up is still not any fun! Whether or not I have to go to school has nothing to do with getting out of bed. I don't wanna go to school today. Fridays are pointless anyway, especially after having a day off. And the fact that there was SNOW . . . the kids are going to be wild! We won't be able to go outside. They are going to want to tell a bazillion stories about yesterday. And I'm going to be annoyed by it all.
