Hide Out
Benny came to visit me Monday night. I was glad because 1) I got the outside stuff hung up and 2) good reason to avoid Patrick. Apparently Benny said he was about to stick his head in the door once when he was walking out and was shocked to see Benny instead of me. Ha! Good. And Todd was here too so maybe that scared him off for the night. Not hardly. Benny and I ate dinner at Moe's. Yummy. I like our bi-monthly dates.
I'm still hiding myself in my room with all the lights out at night. I'm still avoiding our friend Patrick. Yes, I'm a wimp. Poor Pip has been reduced to his pee pads again because I don't want to leave the apartment. I hope it gets better by tomorrow! It HAS to get better . . . . Today I was rudely awaken by a text message at 4:30am. WTF?? Is he crazy? Asking me if I still wanted to hang before he left. Do I want to hang? Who says that? Um, no, I do NOT want to hang. I had to be up shortly after 6:00am today anyway so the early text was NOT a pleasant surprise. Weirdo.
Yesterday was nice. Rebeclynne, Coggins, Susie and I all met up at El Tejano for drinks. Just like old times. Well, except that I had very little to add to the conversation. Ah well, such is life. It was still nice to be back and feel normal again. Only two weeks of school left as of today.
Today I had to be at the school at 7:00 to meet Mrs. Wilson. Then we had to be at the district office at 7:15 (try 7:30) to meet Mrs. Hobbs and Blakely. We had to go to Swansea Elementary to observe their kindergarten writing program. I'll admit I was blown away. It's a lot to comprehend at once, especially since I have STILL not been in a second semester kindergarten class.
Blakely graduates from Clemson tomorrow. I'm so jealous. Only two more days. Well, now it is Friday, May 12th. So tomorrow. Less than 24 hours. Happy Anniversary huh? :( I still can't believe Bradley graduated nearly a week ago now. I haven't spoken to him. Bradley and Blaine. Even my USC boys are growing up!! :(
