27 books since January 1st. So I'm averaging about 7 books a month. If I keep up this pace I'll be at 84ish by the end of the year. Or I only need 23 more books in 8 months . . . So: 4 books a month? I might be able to handle that.
I'm waffling between Shopaholic Ties the Knot or Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs. I ran across it at Books-A-Million at the beach. I had heard of it so I decided to check it out. It looked so interesting that I came home and ordered it right away. Might I add that I ALSO purchased My Friend Leonard and that it's my THIRD attempt?? I have actually had to file a complaint with Amazon because the first seller wouldn't send me my book or answer my e-mails. They finally got it taken care of and I got my money back. HOWEVER, it didn't go on my card right away and when I re-ordered the book I had insufficient funds. So I finally got around to ordreing it again . . . and nothing. It should have been shipped NO LATER than MONDAY. Running with Scissors shipped the day after I placed the order and arrived on Tuesday. WTF? What gives? The WORLD is against me reading Frey's second book. I'm about to go e-mail the seller right now. Asshole.
What is everyone reading? I'd love to know.
