My life in a box
My day was exhausting! After falling asleep some time after 4:00 AM Mom got me up around 12:00 (I'm lazy) to get ready to go to the apartment. I almost decided I didn't want to go but I didn't want to waste yet another day in my life. I got my lazy butt up and got ready and Mom and I took off for Simpsonville.
Lucky for us, Nana, Renee, and Mary Jo had gotten there about two hours earlier and had been hard at work packing up my room. When we got there we went to lunch at Applebees and then we went back to get down and dirty. Mostly I directed but I did help a little.
Packing up with kitchen was hard work. I had to figure out what was mine, how much to leave behind for Susie, and where to keep all the crap once it was packed. My room is FULL of boxes now. When Nana went to the office today the managers told her they thought we would love the new setup. I wish more than anything I could see it so I could start figuring out the new layout and rent. Ah well, something else to wait on.
The scary part: the people are "supposed" to move out this weekend. I don't like that they are "supposed" to move. Do they get a choice to NOT move? Uh....we already have the movers set up for Friday-Saturday (10th-11th). What are we going to do if it isn't ready???
After returning home around 6:00 I got in the bed straight away and have not gotten up again. I'm exhausted. I won't be picking up any more boxes for awhile!
