Personally I loved the book! I have heard about all of the controversy: about how he "embellished" a little, it isn't true, blah blah blah. I don't really care if it's 100% true or not. I mean really, how many people read non-fiction all the time? It sucks that he passed it off as true in the beginning but I feel that if it's a good book, it wasn't a waste of my time. I would recommend it to anyone. It was easy to get into and hard to put down. That said, it had parts that were difficult to read; he's incredibly open and detailed about incidents that occurred. He wrote another book that is basically what happened after he left rehab and met up with one of his friends from the clinic and I ordered it the minute someone told me about it. Read it, all controversy aside, it is great!
