i'm okay
Well, I made it through the week. Jesus Christ I'm glad there's only one more week until we have our wonderful Christmas break!! I don't know if I could handle much more!!! And the best part: Friday the kids are dismissed at 11:30. Whew! Anyways, I plan to do pretty much NOTHING next week. I'm going to think of crafts and bullshit for them to do. And then I plan to make Mrs. Latimer handle most of it. I still have to to OS and report cards. That'll take the bulk of my time. Whatever. I just don't care at this point. Thank God for Christmas. He chose the right time to celebrate His son's birthday ;)
Anyways, I managed to keep my phone on me at all times and I didn't do anything TOO stupid. Then again, I also didn't add alcohol to the mix. Or pills . . . I was such a lazy ass this week. At least three nights I laid down and passed out super early (for me) for no reason whatsoever. Oh well. Two birthdays this week: Aaron and Bradley. So happy birthday to both of those guys. Last night I was so lazy I slept through my alarm to call Bradley. It's the first time I haven't been the first to wish him a happy birthday in about 4 years :( I feel like a loser, a failure as a friend.
I have yet to mention that I've had interesting conversations with Nick the past few nights....
OH!! And I have not mentioned the wildest news of all because I don't want to tell the wrong people at the wrong time. But I definitely have some Union news (pertaining to my family). So please feel free to ask if you think you may care. ;)
Guess what....my birthday is in 11 days now. :) Yay for me.
It's been 8 years today since my Poppy died. The family is trying not to focus on it too much. I asked Mom how she was doing and I'm not bringing it up to my Nana. This is just a shitty time for the family. I'm ready for Christmas to sweep through and lift everyone's spirits.
So plans for the weekend are . . . oh wait, NON-EXISTENT. I don't know what I'm getting myself into. Susie and Rebeclynne have yet to mention anything fun so I'm planning to do NOTHING until I get some sort of phone call. Can you believe we aren't at Mexican tonight? I'm heartbroken. Rebeclynne had to have a dress altered and Coggins is babysitting. It just isn't a normal Friday without that! How will I pass out early without my margarita :( I'm sad.
I think after today (happy year for me REMEMBERING) I should be devoid of dates. Meaning: without looking at a calendar I won't know anything else. So I should be okay..... But I doubt it. SomeONE will mess it up I'm sure. But for Susie and Jaime's sake, I hope not. Hell, for MY sake I hope not!!
