Thanksgiving break is quickly coming to an end. And what did I do with my break? NOTHING! Rebecca, Susie, and I all went downtown on Tuesday night after school. We were supposed to go out with Coggins but the slackass that she is, she ditched us. Whatever. So we met Michael downtown at Wasabi for yummy dinner, then off to Wild Wings for drinks, and then to Connelly's (of course). I'm guessing Connelly's would be a place I would really like if I knew the people there. Just a thought though. Eventually Susie and I were tired of being out so we came back home to sleep a bit before the drive home on Wednesday.
We got up, ran some errands (bought Pip some supercute shirts), and basically just spent the morning lounging. Susie and I both left for home (big ATL for Q) and for uneventful times. Let's see....Wednesday night I hung out with the family, went to dinner, went to Wal-Mart, whatever. Bethi picked me up and we headed to the theater for a movie. Free ones are great ya know! We saw Yours, Mine, and Ours: really funny movie, especially when watched with Elizabeth Anne!
Thursday we got up and went to Renee's for Thanksgiving lunch with the family. Afterwards Paul and I took off for the theater to see Derailed. I read the book so the movie was shit if you ask me. Paul liked it though so take your chances. After the movie I took my happy ass RIGHT back to the theater to work. Ah c'mon, they didn't wanna work, I have no life. WHY NOT? I basically got paid $45 to stand around for around 5 hours. And if I hadn't been there I would have been stuck sitting at home or trolling through Wal-Mart with Mom and Nana and that's NO fun! There were, of course, people there I didn't wanna see but I survived. After my shift I went home and played around online and just went to bed. Such is my life.
Mom got me up early on Black Friday (which means 7:30) and made me go shopping. We went to breakfast, Wal-Mart, and Gaffney. Outlets just aren't as fun as they used to be. I don't know what it is~I'm just not into it. I picked out maybe four shirts and one pair of shoes. The most fun I had the entire day was when Nana bought me the Chipmunk Christmas CD and I got to go to the School Store. Yeah, fun times.
I was happy to get back home to take Pip to the vet (and he's good now) and then met up with Todd. We went to dinner at El Jal (yeah, I'm sure Union thinks I have a hot black boyfriend) and then to the theater to meet Thad to see In the Mix. We were the only white people in the theater!! I asked Todd to protect us so we were safe!
Saturday found me back at the theater for a 12-4 shift. Good news of the day: I got money and I got my car cleaned. Yay!! As soon as my shift ended I decided it was time to leave Union. Mom and Nana were NOT impressed but hey, gotta piss someone off huh? I flew back to Simpsonville, got the car unpacked, and got ready for the night! Rebeclynne and I went to Corona's for margaritas and then downtown to Connelly's for some drinks. I only had a few. Rebeclynne SAID I could stay there but I was just much more in the mood to get home to Pip. After Connelly's she made me drive her all around downtown and then to the Fiddler. At the Fiddler we got to watch some pretty funny karaoke. Finally Rebeclynne was ready for home (as was I).
Today has been spent sitting on my bed doing jack shit. Rebeclynne came over a little while so we could plan our week but other than that, nothing. Thank goodness Susie came back and after awhile of sitting alone like hermits we traveled to the living room for chili, wine, and tv. Great combination don't you agree?
We head back to school tomorrow. This could be good for something to do. This IS bad because Mrs. Latimer will be back. And I KNOW she won't be feeling any better. My classroom is going to go all to shit again. I dread it. Maybe I can hold it together. At the very least it'll be humorous to see how she reacts to their new seating arrangment! I just wish Ms. Thompson was still going to be there!!!!
