What was last night by the way? Susie and I took off for downtown Greenville to meet Russell and Damon at Sassafras. It was rainy and cold and just NASTY. But we went and I braved it all by driving (scary huh). Sassafras was closed (so we had to stand outside and wait for about ten minutes). It was rough making another decision because of course Susie and I had nothing to offer. After endless debate we decided on Wild Wings. Much better choice than Sassafras if you ask me. I would rather go to a sports bar than a southern bistro when I don't know the guys.
We know for sure that Damon likes Susie (how cute). Russell however is up in the air for me. Rebeclynne thinks he may have a bit of a crush, and Damon told her he thought the same thing. I, however, am NOT interested. I ended up going because I wanted to be a good friend and go with Susie. She's on her own the next time!!
I only had a chicken sandwich and two beers . . . . at first. THEN I had to be all crazy and get a red bull and vodka. I felt kinda bad about that. When the waitress came out and asked how we were doing the bill Damon actually used his crayon to draw all over the bill . . . awkward. Of course Damon picked up Susie's and Russell paid for mine. It was nice I suppose. Green Bay vs. Minnesota came on the big screen and they gave us a "Bingo" board and crayons. I think Susie and I had the most fun with the crayons! They probably think we are VERY 22 years old! (C'mon, they're 28 and 29!!)
One of the highlights of the night: On one piece of paper I was writing "wine" and at the same exact time Susie wrote "wine" on her paper. Yes, as she said afterwards, "great minds think alike." :) I guess going out, having someone pay, wear cologne, look nice, all that blah blah was nice but still, just not what I'm after. One day I'll figure it out. And when I do, THEN I'll let you know!
TONIGHT WE GET TO GO OUT FOR COGGINS' BIRTHDAY! Downtown Greenville again, and this time I'm not driving and I AM getting drunk. It's time to show Rebeclynne and Coggins what it's all about. :)
