damn

So I wake up this morning at the crack of dawn (or more like 6:30). Might I add I had tossed and turned all night and was glad I made it asleep that long. Well, I finally decide to give up and send Susie a message to please unchain the door. I am met with no response. After a few antsy minutes I decide to be mean enough to call and wake her up. No answer again. A few more antsy minutes. I decide to drive home, open the door however far I can and yell inside until I wake her/Pip up to come to the door. With this resolution in mind I get up and pack my stuff. It is only then that I realize that I cannot find my pocketbook and keys. DAMN. After frantically searching Casey's room and apartment I make my way out into the winter morning to search his car (twice). I got nothing. THIS SUCKS. I realize in the drunkeness of the tailgate I must have left it at the site. I know that SOMEONE safe has it, but I also know what today is. Today is the day after the football game and I have been hanging out with college aged BOYS. That means they will sleep ALL DAY LONG. I settled in on the couch with The DaVinci Code and spent the morning devouring the book. Glad I remembered to bring one! Long story short, I was stuck there until 3:00. Yes, that's a LONG time to be awake and waiting! After texting (repeatedly) and calling Ian, Lutz, Dallas, and Marc, I finally found out some OTHER guy (Heath???) had taken it. I was left to Lutz going to get it and bring it to me. That took another 2.5 hours. AHHH! I just wanted to get out of there! I made a resolution not to go back to Clemson and to give up, realize that I am a grown up now. Then tonight talking to Ashleigh I remembered the Halloween party that Marc is having next week..... Hahaha, we'll see.

So as for the rest of the weekend: I left for Clemson around 12:00 Friday night. Upon arrival I met up with Todd and Ian to go downtown. Aaron had headed in for the night (drunk as shit) and I had agreed to meet up with him afterwards. The night was a huge letdown. Ian's ID didn't work anywhere and we basically spent the hour waiting on his friends to pick him up. Todd doesn't drink so we went back to our cars and split up. I went to Aaron's but was left with no one to play with there either. The door was unlocked as promised, as was the light on. However, Roldy was not ready and Aaron was NOT awake! After much prodding and pushing I realized he was not GOING to be awake. I tried putting him to bed (no luck) and finally gave up, took Roldy, turned off his lights, and went to Casey's. Lucky for me he left the door unlocked. :) Gotta love Casey.

We spent Saturday lounging, lunching, and tailgating. We tailgated with Marc, Dallas, Ian, Lutz, Ashley, Jon, etc (as usual). I made it through one cup of beer before I let Ian take over and fill me up with coke and SoCo. After the 3rd I lost all concept of space and time. Needless to say, it was a rough time for me. All I know is that I woke up around 9:00 all alone in Casey's apartment. Ive heard a story or two and I realize being drunk is NOT my strong point! (Like that's any surprise)

Home finally I had a relaxing evening lesson planning, tv watching, and chinese eating with Susie and Ashleigh. Growing up is much more relaxing and fun, but in a different kind of way. One day I'll quit fighting it...I just don't know when.

I also had another startling revelation on the way home today. What I'm stressing over, it's my own doing. Nothing is different except me. That's the first step, realizing the problem. Now if only I knew WHY it's different now. If only I could make it okay again. My nerves would really appreciate it!!
