bad day
Today was probably ONE of the worst of the year. The kids themselves can be stressful but with my assistant.... That's a problem in itself. Nothing I'm saying to her does any good and Mr. Adams wants ME to tell her everything. SHE says he's her boss, not me, and that HE needs to tell her, not me. Uh, what do I do? I told Mrs. Burton everything today and she's supposed to be talking to Mr. Adams for me. I'm sure it'll only get worse in the next few days....
On a brighter note Dante got suspended today. Yes, a kindergarten child is suspended. There are no other options. He hits without reason or remorse, he's out of control. He has had notes home, phone calls, sent to Mrs. Burton and Mr. Adams, sent to Mr. Salliewhite's ISS, had a conference with Mom and Mrs. Burton (probably only because he couldn't come to school without the conference). Hell...she has even SAT THROUGH AN ENTIRE DAY OF SCHOOL WITH HIM. Since then I've sent him back to the office and it's always a talk and back to class. Today however he pushed Drew at recess, hit Desi with his shirt in the lunch line, and then pushed Desi a little while later (in the same line). These problems are beyond my control (especially when there are 24 more of them). This MAY have been avoided if Mrs. Latimer had been with the line, ya know, DOING HER JOB. But she "had to go to the bathroom." Such convenient timing.
I got upset in front of Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Watson, and Rebeclynne. I'm a baby. The pressure is mounting and I don't know how much more I can deal with on my own.... Mrs. Latimer is a bully and I'm a pushover. Mr. Adams or Mrs. Burton HAVE to step in soon....
