I Should Post an Entry
I read my friend's Lj posts almost every day, but I never seem to get around to posting my own entry. Lately I feel everyone is more productive than I am, I guess.
I have not been doing much since I wrote final exams.
I attempted to paint the entire interior of my home, but I still have the kitchen and my bedroom left to paint. I think I might wait until Emily finishes exams and have her assist me with the painting. I am not much of a painter. Nonetheless, I managed to avoid putting the paint on inside out.
I have been working on a scrapbook. I never thought I would like scrapbooking. I have never been one for crafts, really. But, I am enjoying making this scrapbook. I have started a scrapbook for Scott and I, and the book is focused on our first year together. AWWW!
I am currently reading three books: Coming Through Slaughter--M. Ondaatje, The Big Why--Michael Winter, and The Inquisition--M. Baigent and R. Leigh (this book has a bibliography). I have one book left to read by M. Ondaatje and then I will have read every book he has published to date. Crazy eh? I am in Vico stage III ( Adam Baker you can insert a chuckle here)!
I am praying that my funding will be extended to September, so I can complete the required courses for Edu. I am not sure how I will cope with all first year courses and 0 papers to write. I am not looking forward to French 1500 and 1501.
I have not seen many of my SWGC friends since April. I find it extremely taxing when I do not have a full schedule. I am still working at the university for this summer. I am doing the same thing as I have done every summmer for the last 4 years. I wait for instructions from Paul and I complete the work and submit it. Some weeks I work 10 hours and some weeks 40+.
Anyway, I guess, if i get funding, I will be up to my eyeballs in work in no time.
