There ARE Still Good People Out There.

I was sitting at the public library on Saturday.  I had tried to work at home, but the fur-kids were just too much distraction (that was the day I was learning that I Hate HTML crap.  I had been there a while when a lady came around asking if anyone owned a particular car.  It was mine.

I figured my lights were on... again...  Nope, not the lights.  The lady went on to tell me that when she was backing out she had bumped into my rear bumper.  OK.  Any damage? I asked.  No, but she insisted that I go have a look for myself.  The mere fact that she came back into the library to find the car's owner told me there was no damage was good enough for me, but she wanted me to go look for myself.

I went out, had a look.  Nope, no damage.  Besides, with the pretty layer of UV protection that my car is wearing (read dirt) how could anyone even see a scratch?  I thanked her profusely for her actions.  I returned to the cool arctic air of the library with a big smile thinking it was nice to know that good, honest people are still around!

I did not get your name or even remember the car you were driving, but I wanted you to know that I appreciate what you did!
