But not for me. My mother is in the hospital down in Florida and no one really knows yet what's wrong or how bad it is. She wasn't feeling well yesterday after lunch and had trouble teaching her afternoon classes. When my dad went to her classroom he said she had her head on her desk and her eyes were closed. She was nonresponsive when he called her name.

I talked to him a little bit tonight as he, my sister and brother-in-law were visiting and bringing her some stuff. She was going to come up here on Sunday and stay for a week with me, Brandon and Travis but it's quite likely she won't be able to make the trip. When I talked to Mom for a little bit, she kept apologizing to me. I told her she didn't need to apologize and the important thing was for her to take care of herself and concentrate on getting well.

She's going to have an MRI in the next day or so to see if there are any new lesions on her brain. The current thinking is that she's having some sort of multiple sclerosis flare up that's causing these problems. Whatever it is, I hope they figure it out soon and that she gets well again.

I could use some positive thoughts and phone calls over this next week, especially if I'm home alone with Travis while Brandon is at work.
