[For about ten minutes Alexis might be in her room crying. But once her eyes are dry, her face isn't flushed and the puffiness is gone, she walks into the living room, sits down on the couch next to her dad, and just snuggles in quietly against his side.]

[His reassurances aren't very reassuring right now. But in front of people, Alexis can put on a strong front and keep the tears from flowing again and keep her voice steady. Yesterday she's had an off day but today everything was back to normal, all those emotions locked away and instead her taking charge of the situation at hand.]

Yeah, why don't I make you some coffee. Okay?

I suppose I could. My other one is mostly notes, half finished scenes and ideas. That sort of thing.
