I'm so EXCITED!
So, I know it's not a big deal to some but...I'm thrilled...
I just paid off one of my credit cards. Yes, it's sad that I have six but when you haven't been afforded the luxury of your parents being able to help pay for your education and then spend two/three years living out of the house, whilst working...you have nothing else to live off of. I have six (5 now that one is GONE!!!!!!!!) and plan to have the four smallest ones paid off by August. I have 2 $800 ones and 1 $400 one left to pay since I just paid off the smallest one. I'll be putting $115 on the $400 on the 29th (when I get paid again) and then two more times in February and hopefully by the first pay period in March I'll have that paid off...it's such a process but I'm so proud of myself! I was giddy all day at work and couldn't wait to come home and make a payment! YAY Me! The two other cards that I have are LARGE so it'll take me a LONG time to get those paid off but...slowly but surely I'm helping myself get DEBT FREE. How great of a world would it be if I only had to pay rent, car, insurance, phone, and student loans...I'm a long way off but taking steps in the direction.
In other news, I've decided to throw myself in head first because he's a really sweet guy and...well, the fact that him caring about me scares probably means that he's worth it.
