Title: All You Need Is Love
Fandom: Gravitation

Drabble 1: Hold Me Tight

Pairing: Eiri x Shuichi, Riku

Rating: PG

Word Count: 179

Disclaimer: “Hold Me Tight”, Gravitation, and the characters do not belong to me.

Warning: Contains major spoilers for Gravitation Ex.

A/N: First in a series of connected drabbles (100-500 words), each one with a title corresponding to a Beatles song. The connections are loose in the beginning, but start to relate once the overall story progresses.

Shuichi had thought that the addition to their household (of sorts) would grant him a permanent place in Eiri Yuki’s bed.

“It would be damaging to Riku’s ‘fragile psyche’,” he’d said, quoting something he’d once heard Hiro say with the hope it would make him seem smarter, “if he saw ‘Mommy’ sleeping on the couch every night.”

Eiri had scoffed, but hadn’t refused him on those first few nights.

But that was before he’d kissed Ryuichi Sakuma, before Eiri had pushed Riku out of danger’s path and lost his eyesight, before that night when he’d crawled on the ground-on his hands and knees-and Shuichi had seen what “fragile” really meant.

Now, both Shuichi and Riku slept on the couch, though Riku did it by choice. Shuichi was grateful; he liked having someone to hold when there was no one to hold him. Even so, he couldn’t stop thinking of Eiri-alone and lost in darkness-and wishing he was by his side. Because now he knew, more than ever, that Eiri just wanted to be held, too.

Drabble 2: I Want To Hold Your Hand

“It’s been crazy here.” I need you.

“So I’ve heard! Nothing exciting ever happens here.” I miss you.

They always knew what the other meant to say. It was a skill that had taken a few months to perfect, and it was extremely useful in a relationship that relied heavily on the telephone.

“We have a gig coming up. It’s a small, charity thing, but people are pretty psyched about it anyway.” Will you come?

“Oh yes, I think Tatsuha mentioned it.” I’ll be there.

Hiro smiled at the thinly veiled excitement in her response. The thought of seeing her always made him feel like floating. Her voice was beautiful, like the best music in the world played all at once. But how he longed for the pleasure of simply holding her hand.

For now, he settled for what he had, closing his eyes as he listened to her talk, curling his fingers around the air and imaging the perfect softness of her skin.

Drabble 3: Baby, You Can Drive My Car

Pairing: light Sakano x Mika

Rating: PG

Word Count: 435

Disclaimer: “Baby, You Can Drive My Car”, Gravitation, and the characters do not belong to me.

A/N: Third in a series of connected drabbles, each one with a title corresponding to a Beatles song. The connections are loose in the beginning, but start to relate once the overall story progresses.

Mika had decided a long time ago that the best thing about Tohma’s job-aside from the income-was that lapdog of his. For the most part, she just let him drool all over her husband’s feet and didn’t bother with him. But every now and then, a situation arose-her car breaking down, for example, on the day of a very important doctor’s appointment-when she whipped out her cell phone, looked through her address book for “Tohma’s lackey”, and demanded that he come and pick her up.

I told a girl that my prospects were good

And she said baby, "It's understood”

The song broke the quiet of the drive, defiantly. Mika, after threatening to do unspeakable things to Sakano’s limbs if she was late, had lapsed into silence, looking out the window and idly running her fingers over her belly (only just now starting to swell) as she thought of the ultrasound waiting for her at the hospital. Sakano, effectively frightened by her threats, had been concentrating on the road and not saying anything stupid in front of her.

“Working for peanuts is all very fine

But I can show you a better time"

Sakano was no match for the power of the Beatles. Without him even realizing it, his fingers started to tap out the rhythm on the steering wheel. He tried to ignore it, tried to ignore the beat, the catchy tune of the chorus, but he was only human. He couldn’t keep his hips and shoulders from moving, his head bobbing, barely noticeable.

I told that girl I can start right away

And she said, "Listen baby I got something to say

I got no car and it's breaking my heart

But I've found a driver and that's a start"

Before he knew it, before he could stop it, his mouth was opening, his larynx betraying him as he sang aloud:

Baby, you can drive my car

Yes, I'm gonna be a star

Baby, you can drive my car-

“What are you doing?” Mika’s expression was a mixture of incredulity and something that could’ve been great amusement.

His treacherous body froze and quickly he replied, “Nothing, baby-M-Mika-san! Nothing, Mika-san.”

Horrified, Sakano inwardly sighed with relief as they reached the hospital before Mika could smack him. Silently, she got out of the car and walked around to his side, leaning down so she could speak through the window. He gulped and anticipated the worst.

“Thanks for the ride, baby.” And with a wink, she left him beet-red and gaping.

And maybe I love you

Beep beep'm beep beep, yeah

all you need is love, riku, gravitation, eiri x shuichi, eirixshuichi, hiroxayaka, mikaxsakano
