I liked Tonks in Book 5, but her pining for Lupin in Book 6 was kind of jarring, because it seemed so out of the blue. On the second read, when I knew it was coming, I could accept it more, but that just seemed so random the first time I saw it. I kind of wanted her to just be kickass without falling in love or anything like that. Also, she was young and fighting a war, so her getting pregnant seemed a bit odd, somehow. Shit happens, we all know that, and maybe it was the fear of 'will we see tomorrow' that made and Lupin speed through to that stage of their relationship. But I guess it's a personal thing, because the last thing I would want to do in that situation is get pregnant, because I'd feel like was putting the baby, myself and my S.O. at risk. I don't know.
I really shouldn't have laughed at "Cedric. Only not dead." but I did and I do not regret it! XD

I'm always kinda wary of new characters that seem too cool or too quirky (like Luna. Though, like I said, I grew to like her). I was all right with Tonks in Book 5. But yeah, it was the sudden randomness of their relationship that turned me off. And then she got pregnant and I was like WTF? And then...dead. And I wanted to be a lot sadder about their deaths because I loved Lupin, but I wasn't.
XDDD
