1. Eiri/Shuichi (Gravitation)
Anyone surprised? :) What can I say? These boys captured my heart from Vol. 1 and never gave it back to me. I find Shuichi's utter devotion both admirable and crazy as hell, and Eiri's...well, Eiri's a bastard. But something about him is so goddamn endearing anyway. And we know he loves his damn brat. Or at least his ass.
2. Zoro/Sanji (One Piece)
I MEAN JUST LOOK AT THAT. THAT IS LOVE RIGHT THERE, FOLKS.
3. Ryoutarou/Len (La Corda d'Oro)
I'm bound and determined to use the least romantic pictures I can find, aren't I? XD Although that moment was actually pretty hot... Anyway. I can't help but adore these two together. The rivalry. The teasing. The anger passion instruments.
4. Prince Eric/Ariel (Disney's The Little Mermaid)
WTF? A STRAIGHT COUPLE? THAT AREN'T AT EACH OTHER'S THROAT? Not my fault they're so freakin' cute. They've always been my favorite Disney couple. Although they're followed so so so so closely by Belle and Beast. Both of those couples' stories are so ridiculously, wonderfully romantic. And I've always been a sucker for romance.
5. Nathan/Haley (One Tree Hill)
ANOTHER ONE? NOW YOU'RE JUST BEING RIDICULOUS. But no. I ship these two so hard it hurts. And yet I've never really written anything for them. Hm. That'll need fixing. All the stupid PeytonLucasBrooke dramarama bored me and pissed me off, so Nathan and Haley became the pair that really kept me going with the show. And when I actually went back and started watching the earlier episodes, I...I just...melted everywhere. I love how they begun. I love what they became, even with the Chris Keller fiasco. And I love what they are now, despite the fact that their domestic sweetness gives me cavities sometimes.
6. Mr. Spock/Dr. McCoy (Star Trek TOS)
MORE GAYS HOORAH! Okay, so I don't write much for these guys, either, and sometimes I forget how much I really do like them. But whenever I watch a Star Trek episode or one of the movies (ESPECIALLY Search for Spock or Voyage Home) I go crazy with fangirlish glee everytime they bicker, everytime McCoy smiles or flashes his baby blue eyes at Spock or calls him a green-blooded hobgoblin, everytime they rush over when the other is injured... Their relationship--even if it's just seen as friendship--is so beautiful and they have such great moments together in both the series and the movies and they're just...always there for each other. Always. *happy sigh* They never fail to warm my heart.
7. IS A TIE. I'M SORRY, I FAIL. BUT I COULD NOT CHOOSE.
7-A. Usopp/Nami (One Piece)
DO I EVEN NEED TO EXPLAIN MYSELF? Seriously, after watching Movie 6, I had to go back and rewatch the episodes because I started seeing their relationship in a different light and I realized my god, they make a fantastic couple.
7-B. Hirata/Chiemi (Love Attack)
SO DAMN CUTE, SO DAMN HARD TO WRITE. ;_; But, yeah. I had to put them on here because...I'm pretty sure Love Attack is the first manga series with a straight couple that really and honestly hooked me. (THANK YOU, PILLOW~!) They're just the sweetest things ever. Even when they're beating the crap out of someone or each other.
