so this weekend i got to spend time with my family. my dad and my brother came up and we went pheasant hunting, and then my mom and angela came up to celebrate angela's 7th birthday!!! holy cow, she's growing up sooo fast. it's tough for me since i'm not going to be at home to watch her grow up a lot of the time. it makes me sad, but i was sooo freakin happy because she's just the coolest!
her and i watched "The Neverending Story", "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe", and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" all in one day! she asks sooo many intelligent questions for her age, it's amazing. it's like she wants to know SOOOO much!
sunday i actually had to drag my mom in to The Edge after service was finished so i could introduce her to all of my friends, F'lar, Rod, Pastor Bob, and Zack.
...soo... while i was pheasant hunting, my phone went completely haywire and totally just like shut off, and wouldn't turn on anymore. i thought it was the battery at first, but it was fully charged, so it had to be the phone. so we took it in to the Verizon store on sunday to see if they could fix it, and they said that there was no way, the phone was broken. so instead they replaced it with a new phone of the same model. but this also meant that i lost EVERYTHING that was on my old phone! all of the numbers on my phonebook, completely gone! and my Thrice ringtone got erased too. i wasn't too happy about that. so now i have to totally rebuild my phonebook again! ugh!
Patty's birthday is on the 16th. she's gonna be freakin' 19!!!
ME: "19 years old... wow, dude you're like that much closer to-"
PATTY: "Aaahh! don't say it!"
ME: "What? hahaha! how come?"
PATTY: "Because... I like being a kid."
ME: "Doesn't everyone though? hehe, in all honesty, so do I."
so like, i was working on writing a letter to her anyways, freakin 4 pages long. and once i found out when her birthday was, i figured that this letter would be her birthday present. so i sent it out this morning so that it would get to her by her birthday on wednesday. i hope she'll like it. =) im sure she will.
PATTY: "So, Ryan i just want to encourage you, and i want you to know that i'm really excited that we're friends."
ME: "Oh yeah, well i'm really really really really times infinity excited that we're friends! hahaha!"
can you believe that the last tiem we say each other in person was Valentine's Day of last year? crap...
The Edge is having a Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday instead of our regular Bible Study, should be a lot of fun.
I finally got the money for the Mexico trip we're doing! i'm excited!
ok so we can pretty much ignore the subject headline, i lied. haha!
